While setting up Make It Yours, you can share the setup workload by inviting other people to be Full Admins of your club.
Sending an invite
On the Make It Yours screen, tap Invite Another Admin.
A bottom sheet opens. Enter the person's email address and tap Send Invite.
The sheet transitions to role assignment. Choose one of 9 roles: President, Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary, Director, Coach, Captain, Digital & Content, Safeguarding Rep, Facilities Manager, or Other.
Tap Assign Role & Invite (this stays disabled until you pick a role).
The invite is sent and appears in your Pending Invites section with the email, assigned role, and a "Pending" status.
Note: Roles are informational only. They do not change what an admin can access, since every Full Admin has identical permissions.
Assigning your own role
Tap the pencil icon on your own row (shown as "You"), pick a role from the same 9 options, and tap Change Role.
Managing pending invites
Edit a role: tap the pencil icon on a pending invite row, pick a new role, and confirm. The invite link stays active.
Revoke an invite: tap the trash icon, then confirm "Revoke this invite?" This invalidates the link and removes the row.
Duplicate invite: if you try to invite an email that already has a pending invite, you will see an amber warning: "[email] already has a pending invite."
Important: Invite links expire after 14 days. An expired row shows an "Expired" status with a Resend option.
Skipping this part of the step
If you would rather run the club solo for now, tap Skip For Now. A confirmation modal appears: "Skip Adding Admins?" with the note that you will be the only admin for now, but can invite others any time from the checklist or your Club Profile. Confirming this marks the invite-admins part as skipped, which counts as complete toward your checklist progress.
What happens when someone accepts
Your colleague taps the link in their email. If they do not have a PLAI account yet, they go through sign up first. Either way, they land directly on the Admin tab of your club, and their row moves from Pending Invites into the Full Admins list.
FAQ
Can I remove myself as an admin?
No. Self-removal is blocked, and there is no trash icon on your own row. The last remaining Full Admin also cannot be removed by anyone else.
Can I invite a child account as an admin?
No. Child accounts cannot be invited as, or promoted to, Full Admins.
