How to Switch Your Club Between Seasonal and Rolling

How to change your club's operating mode from Seasonal to Rolling, or from Rolling to Seasonal, and what happens to members during the switch.

Both directions of this change go through a multi-step confirmation, since it affects every member's access. You'll always tap through at least two confirmation screens before anything actually changes.

Switching from Seasonal to Rolling

  1. On the Memberships & Seasons screen, tap the edit icon on Membership Style, then select Rolling.

  2. Review the explanation of what happens: members are notified 30 days before the transition, each member selects a new plan to renew on a rolling basis, your completed season is archived, and anyone who doesn't renew moves to Expired.

  3. Review or adjust your rolling membership pricing, then tap Confirm Switch.

The switch is scheduled to take effect at your current season's end date. If your club has no active members, the switch happens immediately instead.

Switching from Rolling to Seasonal

  1. Tap the edit icon on Membership Style, then select Seasonal.

  2. Enter your season name, start date, and end date.

  3. Review your existing memberships. Payment intervals that no longer fit the new season length (for example, a quarterly plan on a 2-month season) are shown as unavailable.

  4. Confirm on the final screen. A toast confirms: "Your switch to seasonal confirmed 📅"

All rolling subscriptions will cancel automatically at the new season's start date, and every member will need to submit a new registration to join the season.

Important: Both directions are reversible right up until the switch actually takes effect. You can cancel a scheduled switch at any time before its transition date with no impact on your club.

FAQ

Do existing members lose access the moment I confirm the switch?

No, in both directions the switch is scheduled to a future date. Current members and their access are unaffected until that date arrives.

What if my new season is very short, under a month?

Only weekly payment intervals will be available for subscriptions, since monthly and longer intervals wouldn't fit.
