On the Sign In screen, tap Continue with Google.
Choose your Google account (or enter your Google credentials if you're not already signed in on your device).
Review the permissions Google shows you, then confirm.
You're brought back into PLAI already signed in. If this is your first time using Google to sign in, PLAI creates your profile using your Google name and profile picture automatically.
Note: If an account already exists using your Google email but with a regular email/password sign-in, PLAI will let you know: "Account exists with different sign-in method." You can sign in with your original method instead, or link the two.
If you cancel or deny permissions partway through, you're simply returned to the Sign In screen, nothing is created and no error is shown.
FAQ
Do I need the Google app installed to use this?
No, but on Android, Google Play Services needs to be available. It works across iOS, Android, and web either way.
What happens if I later change my Google account's email?
Nothing changes on the PLAI side, your account stays linked to the original email Google gave PLAI when you first signed in.
Can I still use email and password if I've signed in with Google before?
Yes, as long as you originally set a password too. If your account was created purely through Google, you'd need to link a password separately first.
What if I revoke PLAI's access from my Google account settings?
Your existing PLAI tokens stop working, and you'll need to sign in with Google again to reauthorize.
