Once your club has more than a handful of Groups and Sections, scrolling to find one gets slow. Search lets you jump straight to it by name.
From the Groups screen, tap the search bar at the top (placeholder text: "Search groups...").
Type the name of the Group or Section you're looking for. Results filter in real time as you type.
Each result shows the name, description, and member count. If a result is a Group nested inside a Section, it shows a sub-label: "(Nested within [Section Name])".
Tap a result to jump to it.
Tip: Tap the microphone icon in the search bar to search by voice instead of typing.
To clear your search and return to the full list, tap the × that appears once you've typed anything.
FAQ
Why can't I find a Group I know exists?
Search matches only Group and Section names, not their descriptions. Double check the spelling, search is case-insensitive but still needs the name itself.
What happens if nothing matches my search?
You'll see: "No groups found matching '[your search]'." The search bar stays active so you can adjust your query.
Does search find Groups inside collapsed Sections?
Yes. Search works across all Groups and Sections regardless of whether their Section is currently expanded or collapsed.
