How to Request a Profile Update from an Individual Member

How club admins can prompt a single member to review and correct their own profile details, without editing the data directly.

If one member's details look out of date, rather than editing their profile fields yourself, you can ask them to update it.

Sending the request

  1. Open the member's profile and tap the three-dot menu (⋮).

  2. Select Request Profile Update.

  3. A confirmation modal opens: "Send a profile update request to [Member Name]?"

  4. Tap Send Request.

A notification is sent asking the member to review and update their own information. You'll see confirmation feedback and remain on the member's profile. No data is changed by this action, it's a prompt only.

Note: The request doesn't specify which fields need updating, it's a general prompt for the member to review everything. For a child member, the request goes to their linked guardian.

FAQ

How is this different from sending a request to all members?

This targets just the one member whose profile you have open. To notify your whole roster at once, use the bulk Send Profile Update Request to All action from the member roster instead.

Can I send this to the same member again right away?

A platform-defined cooldown may apply. If it's active, you'll see: "A request was already sent to this member recently. Please wait before sending another."

What if the member has no contact method on file?

The send fails gracefully with: "Unable to reach this member. No contact method on file."
