How to Reject a Member Registration

How club admins reject a pending member registration with a mandatory reason, so the applicant is notified and there's a clear record of the decision.

If a registration shouldn't be accepted, you can reject it either straight from the list or after reviewing the full detail.

Rejecting a registration

  1. Tap Reject on the member's card in the Review Registrations list, or tap Reject Registration from the full detail screen after tapping Review. Both paths open the same rejection reason screen.

  2. Select one reason from the list. Reasons are predefined by the platform, you can't type a custom reason unless an "Other" option is available.

  3. Confirm & Reject stays disabled until a reason is selected.

  4. Tap Confirm & Reject.

Once confirmed:

  • The registration status updates to Rejected and the reason is stored against the record.

  • The member (or the guardian, for a child registration) is notified with the reason you selected. This is the same reason they'll see if they tap View Reason on their end.

  • The card is removed from your pending list, but the record itself is retained for audit purposes, it isn't deleted.

Important: A rejection reason is always required. There's no way to reject without selecting one.

If you close the modal without confirming, nothing changes, the registration stays pending.

FAQ

Can the applicant reapply after being rejected?

Yes. Rejecting doesn't block a fresh application, if they resubmit, it creates a new, independent pending registration.

What if I try to reject a registration another admin already actioned?

You'll see: "This registration has already been actioned," and you're returned to the review list.
