How to Duplicate an Event

Reuse an existing event's full setup as the starting point for a new, completely independent event, without re-entering every field.

  1. Open the event, tap the kebab menu, then tap Duplicate Event.

  2. The hub opens pre populated with everything from the original: name, type, location, cover image, and all configuration.

  3. Dates are pre populated too, but editable, update them to avoid double booking the same slot or facility.

  4. Edit anything you need, then tap Create Event.

A brand new, independent event is published with its own event ID.

Note: Repeat settings always default to off in the duplicate, even if the original event was recurring. If the original had a reserved facility, you'll need to confirm the facility booking again before saving.

What is never copied

Responses, payments, attendance records, and team selections never carry over. The duplicate starts with a completely clean slate.

Editing or deleting the original event afterward has no effect on the duplicate, and vice versa, they're fully independent from the moment of creation.

Tip: Duplicating one instance of a recurring series only duplicates that single instance, not the whole series.

FAQ

Does duplicating copy the fee settings?

Yes, fee configuration copies over like everything else, but no past payment records do. The duplicate starts with zero payments.
