Send a message
Open the Chat module and select a member from the member list.
If you don't already have a chat with them, one is created automatically the moment you send your first message.
Type your message and tap send.
Your message appears in your chat window right away. If the other person is online, they'll see it in near real time. If they're offline, it's delivered as soon as they reconnect.
Note: Messages have a limit of 2000 characters.
FAQ
Can I message a child profile directly?
No. Child profiles don't have their own account, so you can't start a chat with one directly. Message their linked guardian instead, who can respond on the child's behalf.
What happens if I tap send more than once quickly?
Only one message is created. PLAI ignores the extra taps so you don't end up sending duplicates.
