How to Edit, Delete, and Track Usage of a Discount Code

How to update an existing discount code's settings, permanently delete a code, and view a detailed log of every time it's been used.

Editing a code

  1. Tap the three-dot menu on a code card, then tap Edit Code.

  2. All settings open pre-filled, including a Code Active toggle you can use to deactivate or reactivate the code directly.

  3. Make your changes and tap Save Changes.

Note: Edits only affect future redemptions. Changing the discount amount or areas doesn't retroactively change discounts already applied on past transactions.

Deleting a code

  1. Tap the three-dot menu, then tap Delete Code, shown in red.

  2. Confirm: "Delete this Discount Code? Are you sure you want to delete [Code Name]? This action cannot be undone. Members will no longer be able to use this code."

  3. Tap Delete Code.

Deletion is permanent, there's no restore option for the code itself. Historical usage records tied to it, though, are kept for financial and audit purposes even after deletion.

Viewing usage

  1. Tap the three-dot menu, then tap View Usage.

  2. The usage screen shows every redemption: member name, context (for example "Event • U14 A vs. Bromsley Grove"), the amount discounted, and the exact timestamp.

  3. Use the search bar to filter by member name.

Note: A member using the same code multiple times, for example on a recurring monthly subscription, gets a separate usage entry for each billing cycle. This is expected, not a duplicate.

FAQ

If I lower a code's usage limit, does it undo discounts already used?

No. It only restricts future redemption attempts, anyone who already used the code under the old limit keeps what they got.

Can I still delete a code that's already expired?

Yes, deletion works the same regardless of a code's status, active, inactive, or expired.
