Overview
Items in Platter represent the food, beverages, and add-ons your restaurant sells. Each item includes its own details such as name, price, category, printer routing, modifiers, and availability. These items form the core of your POS menu, ensuring efficient ordering and clear communication with the kitchen.
Platter allows you to create single menu items, organize them into accounting groups, and attach modifier groups (such as toppings or spice levels) for customization. All item creation and management takes place in the Cuisine Hub section of the Platter Back Office.
