Overview
This article explains how to export menu items from the Platter Back Office into an Excel file. Exporting this data allows you to review, update, or manage your menu items outside the system more efficiently.
Prerequisites
Before proceeding, ensure the following:
You have access to the Platter Back Office
Valid restaurant login credentials are available
Steps to Export Menu Items
Log in to Platter Back Office
Open your browser
Enter your credentials and sign in to your restaurant’s back office.
Navigate to Cuisine Hub
From the main dashboard, locate and click on Cuisine Hub
Open Items Section
Under Cuisine Hub, click on Items
This will display the complete list of your menu items
Locate Export Option
Export the Data
Click on "Export"
The system will automatically generate an exported file
Download Excel File
The file will be downloaded to your device (usually in Excel/CSV format)
Open and Review
Troubleshooting
Export option not visible:
Ensure you have the required permissions for accessing menu items
File not downloading:
Check browser download settings
Disable pop-up blockers if they are enabled
Incorrect or missing data:
Refresh the Items page and try exporting again
