Overview
This article explains how to assign an existing modifier to specific categories or individual items so that it appears correctly on the POS system during ordering.
Prerequisites
Manager or Admin access
Credential of Platter Back Office
Steps
Log in to the Platter Back Office
After you have created a modifier, go to Cuisine Hub > Modifiers.
Find the modifier you want to assign and click the Edit button.
An Edit submenu will open on the screen.
Navigate to the Categories section to assign the modifier to one or more categories.
Navigate to the Items section to assign the modifier to one or more specific items.
Select the categories or items where you want this modifier to appear.
Click Submit.
The assigned modifiers will now be applied and visible in the POS system.
Troubleshooting
If the modifier is appearing on all items, check if the Global Modifier is enabled.
If the modifier does not show on the POS:
Make sure it was assigned to the correct category or item
Check if the modifier is marked as Visible
Confirm that the POS is connected to the internet for syncing
