How the Approval Process Works in PodRoll

PodRoll provides an efficient and seamless way for buyers and sellers to review and approve podcast promotion campaigns. Our approval process ensures that both parties have full control over their content and where it is placed. Here’s a step-by-step guide to how it works:

Step 1: Buyer Submits a Campaign to the Network

  • A buyer creates and submits a campaign to promote their podcast.

  • The campaign includes all necessary details such as the promotional episode and CPM rate.

Step 2: Campaign Displayed on Seller's Dashboard

  • Once submitted, the campaign is displayed on the dashboards of potential sellers.

  • Sellers can review the campaign details, including the promotional content and CPM rate.

Step 3: Seller Approves the Campaign

  • Sellers interested in the campaign can approve it from their dashboard.

  • Approved podcasts are added to the seller's queue for future drops.

Step 4: Approved Podcasts Added to Buyer's Dashboard

  • When a seller approves a campaign, the buyer gets notified.

  • The approved sellers are listed on the "Approved Podcasts" dashboard within the buyer's account.

Step 5: Buyer Reviews and Approves Sellers

  • The buyer can review the list of sellers that approved their campaign.

  • The buyer then has the final say to approve which sellers can drop their promotional episode into their feeds.

Benefits of PodRoll's Approval Process

  • Full Control for Buyers and Sellers: Both sides of the market can select and approve podcasts that align with their goals and audience. Nothing will run unless the Buyer has approved the Seller and the Seller has approved the Buyer.

  • Efficiency: The streamlined process saves time and ensures a smooth collaboration between buyers and sellers.

Best Practices

For Buyers:

  • Targeting: We suggest approving in the context of brand safety rather than by topic. We see conversions happen across genres and a broader approval list will ensure your campaign delivers within it's predefined flight time.

For Sellers:

  • Audience Match: Only approve campaigns that are relevant to your audience to maintain trust and engagement.

  • Timeliness: Approve or decline campaigns promptly to keep the process efficient for buyers and earn more revenue.
