🎛️ Setups

Like scenes for a room: each one dictates the booking flow and what clients can book.

A setup is like a scene you stage in a room. One room can hold several setups, and the setup is what everything connects to: it dictates the booking flow and decides exactly which base services and add-ons a client sees. It is also the switch that makes a service bookable, so no setup means no booking.

Get your setups right and you control how each space is presented and sold, down to the choices a client is offered.

🛠 Create a Setup

  1. Click Add new.

  2. Choose the Room the scene lives in, then configure the base services and add-ons that should be bookable in it.

  3. Save. When booking (or creating an admin booking), you pick the setup instead of rebuilding the arrangement each time.

You can also embed cards for setups on your own website, reorder them, and set them Active or Inactive from the ⋯ menu.

🎬 One room, many scenes

Because a room can hold several setups, you can sell the same space in different ways (a "Podcast" scene, a "Video shoot" scene, a "Rehearsal" scene), each with its own services, add-ons, and price. Remember the room rule: the moment any one setup in a room is booked for a slot, the others in that room close for that slot, so you never sell the same space twice.

💡 After creating any new service, your next move should be to add it to a setup. That one habit prevents most "why can't clients see it?" moments.

🧠 Why Setups matter

  • They drive the whole client experience: the setup decides what a client is shown and the order they choose in.

  • They unlock more revenue per space: present one room as several tailored offers.

  • They speed you up: reusable presets instead of rebuilding arrangements every time.

👀 What your client sees

Clients pick a setup (or land in one), then see the base services and add-ons you configured for it, in the order you set. The setup is the stage; everything they choose plays out on it.

⚠️ Things to double-check

  • Every base service belongs to at least one Setup.

  • The setup, and its Room, is Active.

  • The services and add-ons in the setup are the exact menu you want clients to see.

✅ Summary

Setups are the scenes that turn a room into bookable offers. They dictate the flow, decide what clients see, and make services go live. Build them with intent and you shape both the client experience and how much each space earns.
