🔧 Where to find it

Settings → Payment

🧰 Your options

  • Stripe: card payments in most regions. You connect (or create) your Stripe account, and payouts and card data are handled by Stripe, so sensitive details never sit in Podyx.

  • Square: an alternative card processor where it suits your setup. Connect your account and your catalog and plans stay in sync.

  • Cash and Pay Later: confirm bookings without an online payment and settle in person or later. Ideal for walk-ins, invoicing, and regulars.

💲 What each method costs

Card payments through Stripe or Square carry that processor's standard transaction fee, billed by the processor. Cash and Pay Later involve no online processing fee, since no card is run at checkout.

Podyx pricing is a monthly plan plus (on some plans) a per-transaction fee.

You choose one of these options:

  • Stripe Essential: $49/month + 1% per transaction (Podyx application fee)

  • Stripe Premium: $99/month + 0.5% per transaction (Podyx application fee)

  • Square Essential: $49/month + $99/month flat Square fee

  • Square Premium: $99/month + $99/month flat Square fee

  • Pay Later Essential: $49/month (no transaction fees)

  • Pay Later Premium: $99/month (no transaction fees)

The 0.5% or 1% is Podyx’s fee (paid to Podyx), and Stripe also charges its own standard card processing fees on top of that.

🔗 How connecting works

Choose your processor and follow the secure connection flow (you will be taken to Stripe or Square to authorize, then returned to Podyx). Once connected, the card option appears automatically in your booking flow. Do the connection yourself in your own processor account, because Podyx never asks for your card or bank credentials directly.

🧠 Why it matters

How you get paid shapes who can book you. Cards capture impulse bookings instantly, while cash and Pay Later keep the door open for walk-ins and invoiced clients. Offering the right mix removes the last bit of friction before money changes hands, so fewer ready buyers slip away.

⚠️ Things to double-check

  • Your currency is set correctly first (Settings → Payment).

  • A test booking charges (or records Pay Later) as expected.

✅ Summary

Connect Stripe or Square for cards, and enable cash or Pay Later for offline, so every booking can be paid for the way that suits you and the client.
