🎟️ Credits

The Swiss army knife: turn refunds into retained revenue, run B2B on account, and reward loyalty and affiliates.

Who this is for: studio operators (admin panel) · Plan: Premium · Product: Podyx V2

Credits are a balance you add to a client's profile that they can spend with you later. They sound like a small accounting feature and they are actually one of the most flexible tools in Podyx. Think of them as a Swiss army knife: the same mechanism solves refunds, B2B billing, loyalty and affiliate rewards.

ℹ️ Credits are a Premium plan feature. On Essential you will not see this tab. See plans and pricing.

🔧 Where to find it

On any client profile, under Admin Panel → Clients.

🛠 Add or remove credits

Open the client's profile, enter the amount to add or remove, and write a note explaining why. The note matters more than it looks: months later it is the only thing that explains the adjustment.

📒 The ledger keeps you honest

Every adjustment is recorded in a full ledger audit, and you can filter it to show only credits added or only credits removed. You always have a clean trail of who was given what and why.

🔧 Four ways studios use them

  • Late cancellations. Instead of refunding the money, keep it and issue credits. The client is not out of pocket, you are not out of revenue, and they have a reason to come back.

  • B2B on account. Load a large credit balance onto a business client's profile and invoice them based on usage. They book freely all month, you bill once.

  • Loyalty. Reward your regulars with credit rather than a discount, because credit keeps the money in your studio.

  • Affiliate rewards. Pair credits with promo codes, so a partner who hits a referral target gets paid in studio time.

💡 The refund case is the one most studios underuse. A refund is revenue leaving forever. A credit is revenue that stays, plus a returning client.

🧠 Why it matters

  • You keep cash that would otherwise leave in a refund.

  • Awkward moments get easier. Credits let you be generous without losing money.

  • B2B becomes simple, with no per-booking invoicing.

  • Every credit is tracked, so goodwill never becomes a mystery in your accounts.

✅ Summary

Add or remove credits from any client profile, always with a note, and let the ledger keep the record. Reach for credits instead of refunds, use them to put B2B clients on account, and pair them with promo codes to reward the people who send you business.
