🎟️ Store Credits

The Swiss Army knife of Podyx: refunds, loyalty, B2B billing, and affiliate rewards, all in one balance.

Store credit is a spendable balance you can put on any client's profile. It sounds simple, but it is one of the most versatile tools in Podyx: a single feature that doubles as your refund policy, your loyalty program, your B2B billing system, and the fuel for affiliate rewards. If you only set up one "growth" feature, make it this one.

🔧 Where to find it

On a client's profile (Admin Panel → Clients), where you can add or adjust their credit balance. Credit then applies automatically at checkout.

🧰 The Swiss Army knife: ways to use it

  • Smarter refunds: refund a cancellation (especially last-minute) as credit instead of cash. You keep the money and the client has a reason to rebook. Use it for ordinary refunds too, to retain the revenue.

  • Loyalty rewards: drop credit onto a regular's profile as a thank-you, and they come back to spend it.

  • Postpaid B2B: let a business client book freely all month, then invoice them at the end based on usage. Credit on the profile keeps the running tab clean.

  • Prepaid B2B: or do it the other way: invoice the company upfront and load that amount as credit they draw down, which agencies and recurring clients love.

  • Affiliate rewards: pair credit with a promo code (see Promo Codes). Give an affiliate a code, track its usage, and reward them with credit when they hit a referral target.

  • Service recovery: smooth over a hiccup instantly with a little credit, which is faster and friendlier than a refund.

🔁 How it works

Add credit to a client's profile (or convert a refund into credit), and it shows on their account. At checkout it is applied automatically toward their booking, and the balance updates. It is real value in your studio's own currency, so it keeps clients spending with you rather than asking for cash back.

🧠 Why it matters

Credit turns money that would leave your studio (refunds, goodwill) into money that stays, and it gives you a clean mechanism for the things growing studios need: loyalty, B2B terms, and referrals. One balance, many jobs.

⚠️ Things to keep in mind

  • Be clear with clients about what credit can be used for and whether it expires.

  • For B2B, decide upfront whether you are billing postpaid (invoice after usage) or prepaid (credit after invoice).

✅ Summary

Store credit is a flexible balance on a client's profile that powers refunds, loyalty, B2B billing, and affiliate rewards. Reach for it whenever you would otherwise send money out the door.
