Who this is for: studio operators (admin panel) and their clients · Plan: all plans · Product: Podyx V2
Session links are a shared list of links attached to a booking, and they work in both directions. You share links with the client (a WeTransfer, a photo gallery, a Notion page, a Google Doc or any other URL) and the client shares links with you, such as guest bios, reference clips or assets for the session. Both sides see the whole list on the session, so nothing gets lost in an email thread.
ℹ️ Session links are available on every plan.
🧭 What to share
Anything with a URL works. Good uses:
A photo gallery from the shoot
A WeTransfer of large raw files
A Notion page or Google Doc with the run sheet or show notes
From the client: guest bios, reference clips, logos and other assets you need before the session
🔧 Share links as the studio
Open the session from Operations → Sessions and scroll to the Session links card.
Click Add links to share links with the client.
Links the client adds show on the same card, so everything they sent is on the booking it belongs to.
💡 Check the Session links card when you prep for a session. Guest bios and reference clips the client added will be waiting there.
👤 What your client sees
In My Sessions, the client opens the ⋯ menu on a session and chooses Session links. That opens the session's details on the Links tab, which has two parts:
From the studio: every link you shared. Until you add one, it reads "No links from the studio yet. They'll appear here when the studio shares them."
Your links: where the client shares links with you, for guest bios, reference clips and assets for the session.
To add links, the client types one link per line and clicks Save links. Any text before a link becomes its label, so Guest bios: https://… shows as "Guest bios" rather than a bare URL.
💡 Asking clients to label their links ("Logo:", "Intro music:") saves your team opening every one to find out what it is.
🧩 Good to know
Podyx stores the link, not the file. Whoever controls the file controls access, so make sure each link is shared so the other side can open it.
Transfer links often expire. If you share a WeTransfer or similar, tell the client to download before it lapses, or share a link that lasts.
🧠 Why it matters
One place per booking. Links from both sides sit on the session instead of scattered across emails and chats.
Fewer chasing messages. Clients can send prep material without emailing, and find your delivery links without asking.
Any tool you already use. WeTransfer, Notion, Google Docs, a gallery: if it has a URL, it works.
✅ Summary
Session links are a two-way list of links on each session.
Studios add links from the Session links card on the session page, where the client's links also show.
Clients reach them from My Sessions → ⋯ → Session links, see From the studio, and add their own under Your links: one per line, with text before a link as its label.
Available on every plan.
