Once you have approved bookings, it’s time to prepare yourself for the trip. Providing a comfortable journey goes beyond simply driving—it’s about making sure your passengers feel welcome, safe, and at ease throughout the trip.
Here are some tips to help you create a pleasant experience for everyone on board.
Before the trip
Make sure you have all the passengers' details accessible on your phone before you leave: their names, phone numbers, pickup locations and times. You can get those details easily by downloading the Poparide mobile app.
During pick-ups
Greet your passengers warmly when they get into the car, greet them by their first name and help them get settled.
While you’re driving
After picking up your passengers, make sure they're comfortable throughout the trip. Stay within the speed limit, avoid using your phone, and feel free to ask passengers if they're comfortable. This can include checking if the music volume, temperature, and driving speed are to their liking. A simple "Is everything okay?" can make a big difference.
After the drop-off
After the trip, you’ll receive a notification to leave a review for your passengers. This helps the Poparide community by informing others of your experience. Reviews are especially valuable for helping new passengers get accepted on future trips.
