PREO connects to E-Automate in real-time when selecting customer data. When the user requires an address that does not exist in E-Automate, they can create a new customer record in PREO. When the proposal is Submitted for Review, PREO can be configured to send an email notification to specific recipients to notify that their are new customer records that are required to be created in E-Automate.
Requirements
First, configure the "New Customer Request" to alert the team that is responsible for building the new E-Automate customer records.
Process
Notification is sent to team with a link to the PREO Proposal:
Click on URL in email notification to navigate to the Proposal.
Click on Tools > Location List
Identify the new accounts that need to be built in PREO by looking for "CREATED IN PREO" in the Customer Number column
Build E-Automate Customer record(s) as a child location of the billing customer displayed on the screenshot.
