This release brings more precision, speed, and confidence to your daily workflow.

You’ll notice exact time continuity between entries, a faster Enhanced Stopwatch, quick task duplication, code-based search for clients/projects/tasks, smarter reports and quick filters, recently-used items surfaced on top, brand-new Flat Rates for scalable billing, Finance Dashboard invoicing actions, and the launch of API documentation.

1. Productivity Upgrades

⏱ Enhanced Stopwatch

The Stopwatch button is now split into two parts, so you can either start tracking instantly or open the full timer controls—without extra clicks.

What’s new

  • Split Stopwatch button:

    • Left side starts the Stopwatch immediately

    • Right side opens the Stopwatch modal

  • Quicker access to key timer actions from the modal (edit, pause, save, delete)

📋 Duplicate Tasks

Copy tasks in one click to speed up recurring work and repeated project setups.

Calendar tasks are now easier to work with, and turning tasks into tracked time is much smoother.

  • Drag & drop tasks into the Calendar to create a time entry

  • Improved task card layout

  • Tasks are visible by default, with an assignee filter available

2. More Accurate Time Tracking

🧩 Exact Continuity Between Time Entries

When you adjust a time entry in the Calendar, you can now “snap” its start or end time to match the neighboring entry — so your day stays continuous with no gaps.

What’s new

  • Set a time entry’s start time to the exact end of the previous time entry

  • Or set a time entry’s end time to the exact start of the next time entry

  • Helps you keep back-to-back work blocks perfectly aligned

⚡ Recently Used Items on Top

Whenever you use something in primaTime—like assigning a label to a task or selecting a client on a time entry—that item is treated as “recent” and will show up first the next time you pick from a list, anywhere in the app.

What’s new

  • After you use an item (for example: a label, client, project, task, or user), it moves to the top of relevant dropdowns and pickers

  • This “recently used” ordering is applied consistently across the app, not just on one screen

  • Your most common choices are always one click away

  • Less scrolling through long lists

5. Billing & Finance Improvements

💼 Flat Rates

Flat Rates help you bill recurring or fixed-scope work by automatically creating billing items on a schedule—so you always see what’s already been billed (and what still hasn’t).

What’s new

  • Set up a Flat Rate with a recurrence (monthly or yearly)

  • Each time the recurrence comes due, the Flat Rate is turned into a new Billing Item automatically

  • Billing Items stay as independent entries, giving you a clear billing history over time
