🗓️ Enhanced Timeline Interactions

The timeline is now more interactive, giving you faster ways to manage time records without leaving the calendar.

  • Drag time records and external events directly into the calendar to create new entries

  • Left-click a time record to open its detail view

  • Right-click a time record to open a contextual actions menu

  • "Move to Trash" option available directly from the right-click menu

⏱️ Smarter Time Record Creation

Creating consecutive time records is now faster — the system intelligently pre-fills start and end times based on your previous record and the current time.

What's new

  • New record's start time is automatically set to the previous record's end time

  • New record's end time is set to the current time

  • Applies when the current time is later than the previous record's end time

  • Same logic works when dragging into a calendar area

  • No more manually entering start times between consecutive entries

  • Seamless back-to-back time logging

  • Reduces errors and saves time on repetitive tracking

📅 Date Picker Improvements

The date picker has been refined for faster, more intuitive date selection across the entire app.

What's new

  • Type dates directly into the date field — no need to click through a calendar

  • Selecting "Today" or preset ranges (This/Last Week, Month, Year) now applies instantly and closes the picker

  • Date range input redesigned with a smoother interaction pattern

Time reports now give you full control over how your data is grouped, sorted, and displayed — directly in the grid.

What's new

  • Group time records directly in the grid with the following options:

    • User, Client, Project, Task, Label

    • Billability, Approved, Invoiced

    • Day Created, Week Created, Month Created, Year Created

  • Sort groups ascending or descending

  • Sort by group totals (sums)

  • Drag & drop columns to reorder

  • Resize column widths

  • Pin columns to the left or right

  • New "Owners" column displays avatar icons of entity owners

  • New "Members" column displays avatars of all assigned users

  • Available in Projects, Projects Reports, Clients, and Clients Reports grids

  • Overflow avatars collapse into a numeric count indicator

  • Existing owner and member filters connected to these columns

  • Included in XLS and CSV exports as semicolon-separated values

  • A due time can now be specified alongside the due date for recurring tasks

  • The recurrence icon in the date tag now matches the color of the accompanying text
