How to execute a deal on Propoly if the Tenancy Agreement was signed manually.

If the Landlord and Tenant have signed the Tenancy Agreement outside of the Propoly platform, this is how to complete the deal on Propoly.

Updated over a year ago

The standard process when using Propoly is for all parties to electronically sign the Tenancy Agreement using DocuSign. However, you may occasionally encounter a situation where the parties need to sign the agreement manually instead. If this happens, here is a guide for how to complete the deal on the Propoly system.

You'll need to follow these three easy steps:

Step 1: Edit the deal

If you need to skip the signing page, you'll first need to click the 3 dots above the tenancy end date. This will bring up a menu where you can select "edit deal."

This will take you to the "Create Deal" screen.

Step 2: Go to the tenancy control page

Once you're in the "Create Deal" screen, you'll see a progressive bar at the top with 3 stages: agreement, options, and tenancy control. To skip the signing page, you'll need to click on the 3rd checkmark, beneath Tenancy Control.

This will take you to the "Tenancy Control" page.

Step 3: Toggle "agent will manually execute agreement" to yes

On the "Tenancy Control" page, there will be several toggles for various elements of the deal.

You'll need to find the toggle for "Agent will manually execute Tenancy Agreement" and ensure it is set to "Yes".

Once this has been completed, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Save Deal" button.

The Propoly platform will now no longer expect the Tenancy Agreement to be signed within Propoly by DocuSign, and will allow you to proceed to executing the agreement, provided everything else is in order.
