How do I get started with PropShopTrader?

Overview

Getting started with PropShopTrader is simple. Choose your market, choose your account size and drawdown structure, complete your purchase, then use the platform and setup resources to begin Evaluation.

Step 1: Choose your Account Type

Pick the account type you want to trade:

  1. Intraday Account

  2. Swing Account

Step 2: Choose your market

Pick the market you want to trade:

  1. Futures

  2. Stocks

Step 3: Choose your account size

Pick the account size that fits your budget and risk tolerance:

  • Intraday Account Type: 25K, 50K

  • Swing Account Type: 12.5K, 25K

Step 4: Choose your drawdown structure

Pick either:

  1. Intraday Trailing Drawdown - Available with both Intraday & Swing Trading Account type

  2. EOD Trailing Drawdown - Available with only Intraday Trading Account type

Step 5: Complete your purchase

PST accounts use a one-time evaluation fee. There are no hidden costs and no monthly subscriptions for these Gladiator evaluation accounts.

Step 6: Set up your platform

  • PropShopTrader accounts use Rithmic for real-time market data and order routing on supported trading platforms.

  • Each account purchase also includes a complimentary license for the Tickblaze Trading Platform, which can be used to connect and trade using your Rithmic account credentials.

  • After purchasing your account, refer to the Platform & Data pages for detailed platform setup instructions and connection guides.


Account Limits

Traders may hold multiple active accounts, subject to the limits below.

  • Futures

    • Up to 5 Intraday accounts

    • Up to 5 Swing accounts

    • Maximum 10 Futures accounts total

  • Stocks

    • Up to 5 Intraday accounts

    • Up to 5 Swing accounts

    • Maximum 10 Stock accounts total

  • Maximum Accounts Per Trader

    • 20 total accounts

    • Up to 10 Futures accounts

    • Up to 10 Stock accounts

The limit applies regardless of drawdown type, meaning Intraday drawdown and End-of-Day drawdown accounts count toward the same asset class limit.


What you should decide before buying

Before purchasing, decide:

  • whether you want to trade Futures or Stocks

  • whether you want an Intraday or Swing account

  • which account size fits your risk tolerance

  • which drawdown structure applies to your selected account type
