How do I get started with PropShopTrader?

How to get started with PropShopTrader, including Gladiator Sprint: pick your asset class, account type, and size, then complete purchase, KYC, and Tickblaze setup to begin Evaluation.

Overview

Getting started with PropShopTrader is straightforward. You pick the market, choose an account size and drawdown structure, complete the purchase, and then connect Tickblaze to begin Evaluation.

Step 1: Choose your asset class

Pick the market you want to trade:

  • Gladiator Light: Automatic simulated payouts on qualifying Benchmarks 2–7, with Benchmark 8 triggering Real Prop consideration.

  • Gladiator Forge: Automatic simulated payouts on qualifying Benchmarks 2–6, with Benchmark 7 triggering Real Prop consideration.

  • Gladiator Sprint: Futures only, day-trading only (EOD drawdown), in 25K and 50K sizes. You start on a Sprint Evaluation account and, after passing, move to a Sprint PTSA (payout) account with manual payout requests and a 90/10 split across Payout 1–5 (maximum 5 payouts per account). After the 5th payout, a Move Live (Real Prop) transition is reviewed at the discretion of the Risk Team. For the full parameter set, see How Gladiator Sprint Accounts Work.

  • Stocks — Gladiator Stocks, with a Signing Bonus released on advancement to Real Prop.

Step 2: Choose your account type

Pick the account type that matches your trading style:

  • Intraday — daily profit targets, positions closed by the end of each trading day. Available with Intraday Trailing Drawdown or End-of-Day (EOD) Drawdown.

  • Swing — weekly profit targets, positions may be held overnight and across weekends. Uses the Intraday Trailing Drawdown structure applied across the whole trading week.

Note: Gladiator Sprint is day-trading only and uses the EOD Drawdown structure. It is not available for Swing or for Stocks.

Step 3: Choose your account size

Pick the account size that fits your risk tolerance and budget:

  • Intraday Futures and Stocks: 25K or 50K

  • Gladiator Sprint (Futures): 25K or 50K

  • Swing Futures: 12.5K or 25K

  • Swing Stocks: 25K or 50K

Step 4: Complete your purchase

PropShopTrader accounts use a one-time evaluation fee. There are no monthly subscription fees for a Gladiator account. The fee covers the evaluation account and a Tickblaze platform license.

Gladiator Sprint pricing. A Sprint Evaluation account costs $110 (25K) or $170 (50K). If a Sprint Evaluation fails, a reset costs $65 (25K) or $100 (50K). Resets apply to the Sprint Evaluation only — a Sprint PTSA account cannot be reset.

Step 5: Complete KYC

Every trader completes Know Your Customer (KYC) identity verification through Veriff before trading begins. KYC typically clears within 24–48 hours. The name on the account must exactly match the name on your government-issued ID.

Step 6: Sign your Gladiator Agreement

After purchase, you will receive a Gladiator Agreement via PandaDoc. Review and sign it to activate your account.

Step 7: Set up Tickblaze

PropShopTrader runs on Tickblaze, the firm's primary trading platform for all users, asset classes, and account types. When your account is activated:

  • Download and install Tickblaze

  • Follow the connection guide emailed with your credentials

  • Log in using your Tickblaze credentials

  • Enable the market data feeds for the instruments you plan to trade

Every PropShopTrader account includes a complimentary Tickblaze license and market data access.

Step 8: Begin your Evaluation

Once you are logged into Tickblaze and connected to your new account, you can begin trading within the account's rules. Your goal is to complete qualifying trading days, hit Benchmark targets, and build a consistent track record.

Account limits

Traders are allowed one registered profile (email). Inside that profile:

Futures accounts — maximum 10 total (Light + Forge + Sprint PTSA combined):

  • Gladiator Light & Forge: Up to 5 Intraday accounts (Intraday Trailing + EOD Trailing combined — day trading); Up to 5 Swing accounts.

  • Gladiator Sprint (payout accounts): Up to 10 — day-trading only (EOD drawdown). Sprint is its own category and is not counted in the Light/Forge 5-Intraday limit.

  • Sprint Evaluation accounts: unlimited, not counted (passed evals beyond the cap wait in Reserve).

  • All Light + Forge + Sprint PTSA together cannot exceed 10 Futures.

Stock accounts — maximum 10 total: Up to 5 Intraday accounts (Intraday Trailing + EOD Trailing combined); Up to 5 Swing accounts.

Maximum accounts per trader: 20 total accounts — up to 10 Futures + up to 10 Stock. Sprint Evaluation accounts are unlimited and excluded from the 20.

Before you buy, decide

  • Whether you want Futures or Stocks

  • Whether you want Intraday or Swing

  • Which account size fits your risk tolerance and budget

  • Which drawdown structure (Intraday Trailing or EOD) fits your strategy
