New TRAC Landing Page - Folders

An overview of TRAC’s new Folders and updated landing page

Updated this week

TRAC is always evolving and our most recent evolution includes introducing Folders in TRAC, transforming the look and feel of the “All Searches” page. We’ve moved on from a simple catalogue page where users could search and create their queries, to an organised workspace with folders.

What is the TRAC Landing page?

The new TRAC landing page now features two tabs: “All Folders” and “All Searches”, available to all users with access to at least one folder or search. Superadmins also see an additional “My Folders” tab, serving as a personal hub to manage their own folders.

My Folders

Users with the Superadmin permission level can access all searches they have created within the My Folders tab. This area functions as a dedicated workspace for managing projects, users, and folder settings, offering enhanced visibility and control over team activities.

All Folders

If a user has been granted access to a folder, they can view and open it from the All Folders page. From here, users can explore each folder and the searches it contains, keeping related work neatly organised and easy to access.

All Searches

The All Searches page contains all public searches that don’t belong to any folder. Additionally users will be able to view and search for searches from within folders they have access to. Each search now displays a folder icon, showing whether it’s assigned to a folder—and if so, which one(s).

Accessing a Folder

Clicking on a folder opens a familiar interface similar to the All Searches page. From here, users can browse all searches within the folder, create new ones, or manage folder settings. Admins can also create new searches directly from the folder page, helping teams stay organized as they work instead of sorting and assigning searches afterward.

Search Folders are available as a feature flag. If folder creation is not currently enabled in your domain and would benefit your team, please reach out to your Account Manager to request access.

If you have any questions or feedback, please contact your Account Manager or reach out to the Product team—we’re always happy to help.
