This release is focused on making life easier for your client users.

We understand how busy clients can be, and logging into a system to approve timesheets often falls to the bottom of the to-do list.

With this update, client users can now approve or reject timesheets and expenses directly via email, without needing to log in or create a Quartz account.

When a client user is first created, there’s no need to send an invite link if your client settings allow email authorisation. Users can approve or reject timesheets and expenses directly from their inbox.

Bug fix: Valid error messages will now display if a timesheet or expense has already been approved or rejected.

Tip: If you don’t want to initially provide login details to your client users, it may be helpful to create an email template with slightly revised wording for the timesheet and email chaser notifications.

For example, instead of saying “Click here to log in”, you could say “Please locate the authorisation email to approve.”
