In this guide, we'll provide you with an overview of the essential parts of Raytd and give you a roadmap to start inspecting, reporting and analysing; better.

Introducing Raytd

Raytd is a software platform for that helps consultants and asset owners save time, improve the quality of data and reports, and reduce the cost of building inspection and reporting projects.

The Applications

Raytd has two apps that work together.

  • A secure cloud-based Web Application where you'll collaborate across your whole organisation and manage projects from end to end.

  • A Mobile Inspection Application that works both online and offline that you'll use to complete inspections.

The Essentials

When you join Raytd you'll be part of an Organisation.

Everything on Raytd (Assets, Test Suites, Element Groups, Inspections, Reports & Report Blocks) is owned by an Organisation.

Complete your first project on Raytd

Here's the fastest way for you to deliver your first project on Raytd.

  1. Create an Asset

An Asset is an enduring digital record of a physical place. Everything you do on Raytd will be saved to an Asset.

πŸ‘‰ Create a new Asset, or ask someone to share an Asset with you.

  2. Create a Test Suite

A Test Suite specifies the exact information requirements for your building inspections. You can use multiple Test Suites for an Inspection.

  3. Create an Element Group

An Element Group is a customisable nested list that is used to tag individual building elements during building inspections.

You only need an Element Group if you want to include the Element Group field in your Test Suite.

  4. Create an Inspection

An Inspection is the combination of Asset, Test Suites and Element Groups that you'll use to complete a building inspection.

  5. Complete your building inspection

Open the Mobile Inspection Application and start capturing data by creating Tests in your Inspection.

Move fast with Fast Fills and speech-to-text, add photographs, work online or offline, and automatically upload everything to the cloud. Save tests for review later, or make them report-ready on the go.

  6. Create a Report

A Report instantly brings together all of your data; formatted, branded and ready for you to review, publish and issue.

  7. Repeat

You've just completed your first project on Raytd, congratulations!

Now it's time to take everything that you've created and start your next project. Re-use your Test Suites and Element Groups to save time. Add more Fast Fills and create your first Report Block. Every part of Raytd is built to increase accuracy and speed without compromising quality.
