To use Realync videos on a propertyâs Apartments.com listing, you must have a Diamond or Diamond Plus listing with Apartments.com. This ad package includes the ability to add videos at the unit level. Learn more about Apartments.comâs Diamond and Diamond Plus packages here, and contact your Apartments.com representative to upgrade.
Youâll also want to confirm that each of your unit-level videos has a sub-type indicating the unit number (not just included in the title of the video). This will be required in order for Apartments.com to map these videos to the appropriate unit on your listing. Click here to learn more about how to use Sub-Types in Realync to indicate the unit number. If your account doesnât have unit numbers loaded in, please contact support@realync.com for assistance.

Not all videos should be added to an Apartments.com listing (for instance, videos that were personalized for a specific prospect, need to be updated after a remodel, or do not meet your quality standards). If you find that all videos in a propertyâs Realync video library are suitable for Apartments.com, you can proceed to the next step.
If some of the videos are not suitable for Apartments.com, youâll need to identify which ones are suitable. The easiest and fastest way to do this is to use Realyncâs Approval Process. This is an optional, but highly recommended feature that you must request to have turned on for your property/portfolio. To learn more about Approval Processes in Realync, please review this article.
Alternatively, you may manually compile a list of reviewed videos in a spreadsheet. When compiling the spreadsheet, and for each video listed, please include the exact title of the video, the associated unit number, and the property name. You can download a template here.

If youâve used the Approval Process to identify reviewed videos, you can simply contact integrations@realync.com to request that these videos be added to your Apartments.com listing for your properties.
If youâve compiled a spreadsheet of reviewed videos, please contact integrations@realync.com and attach the spreadsheet to the email. Please note that this process will require more time to get your videos added to Apartments.com.

For the best results, please consider the following best practices for your Apartments.com video strategy:
Focus on approving available units
At this time, Apartments.com will only be able to add videos at the unit-level for units that show as available on your listing. When approving videos, focus on doing so for these units.
Develop a strategy for capturing every available unit
Work with your on-site teams to identify vacant (or soon-to-be vacant) units, and focus on capturing videos of those units.
If you are a stabilized property, make sure to record a Realync video during the turn process for every unit.

Regularly review new videos
To make sure your Apartments.com listing is kept up-to-date, we recommend conducting a regular review of your teamsâ video libraries, so that you can get videos reviewed and onto the listing as soon as the video is available. A monthly or even weekly cadence should allow you to stay on top of approving these videos.
With Realyncâs Approval Process, your teams can also request approval for videos, notifying you when theyâve created new content that is ready for Apartments.com.
