Recalibration Steps:
Attach your phone to the Osmo
Please take the case off your phone
Place one of the magnetic phone clamps on your phone
Open the DJI Mimo App, then turn on the Osmo by pushing and holding the M button on the front until all the lights light up and stay illuminated
On the Mimo app, tap Connect on the top of the screen when it pops up.
If the connect button isn’t popping up right away, you might have to click on the little camera icon in the top left corner to see what devices are available to connect to
Sometimes you’ll have to force close the app in between Osmos to get the Connect button to display again.
The app will then display a list of Osmos, select the one with the same last two digits of the Osmo you’re working with.
If your phone is not connecting to the osmo, you might have too many devices in your bluetooth setting on your phone. Go to “Settings”, “Bluetooth”, and then you will see many different devices under “My Devices”. Go through and click the blue “i” icon and click “Forget this device”.
Once you hit the recording screen, press on the three white dots located on the bottom right hand corner of your screen (when in landscape mode).
Then click on the middle button (looks like a stabilizer icon). You should now see an option called “Gimbal Auto Calibration”. Click the Calibrate button to the right of that option and start.
Set the gimbal on a flat surface (I recommend putting the tripod on and setting it on a flat surface).
Do not touch the stabilizer or move the flat surface.
You should now see a percentage of how much calibration your stabilizer has left until it’s done. Once the calibration is complete, you will receive a message saying “Gimbal Calibration. Calibration Success.” Your stabilizer should now be calibrated!
