What's New:

🆕 Customizable Postcard Templates: Upload custom photos and logos within the Direct Mail Settings section of your account. Your custom images can be used on select Postcard templates.

Coming Soon:

✨ In future releases you can look forward to even more templates, ability to customize text in templates, add a url, delivery status, and ability to select and send one postcard with fewer clicks, so stay tuned to see what's next! 👀

Getting Started

To access our new Direct Mail campaigns, features, and postcard templates, select the Direct Mail option located on the left side bar of your account.

Campaigns can be created by selecting Create New Campaign.

Note: If you would like to send mailers with custom images, upload the images under the Direct Mail Settings BEFORE starting the campaign.

Adding Properties

On the first step of setup, you'll filter and select the properties you want to send mail to.

When adding properties, you'll see a page that looks very similar to your records page. Here you have access to all filters and filter presets saved in your account.

Select the properties you want to send mail for, then click next.

Pro tip: filter and select the records you want to send before starting the campaign, and add a tag for the campaign name. On the adding properties step, simply filter by that tag and select all properties.
Remember to include the Params & Others filter block and select Vacant Mailing -> No so marketing $$$ aren't spent sending to a vacant mailing address.

Campaign Setup

Enter the Campaign Name. All campaigns will be created in the folder you accessed "Create Mailers" from. If you did not access from a folder, the campaign will be saved to the default folder. You can always move the campaign to a new folder later.

Campaign Type

Toggle to select if the campaign type: multi touch or single touch.

Multi Touch Campaign

When setting up a multi-touch campaign, multiple postcards will be sent to the selected records. With this option, you can select multiple different templates to send, and select the time between each "touch" or send.

Note Once a record is selected for a multi touch campaign it cannot be removed from the campaign. This may be possible in a future release.

Single Touch Campaign

When selecting a single touch campaign, you can choose to send all at once or in batches.

If you select to send all at once, all postcards will be sent at the same time to all selected records on the date scheduled.

When sending in batches, you can can select the amount of batches (number of drops) and the delay between each batch (weeks or months). Please note that when sending in batches your credits will still be charged for all postcard ordered at once. The benefit of sending in batches is to help control and better manage incoming leads from the postcards.

Mailer Setup

Next, click configure mailer to select a template.

Select a Template

Select the Postcard template you want to send. Clicking Front and Back allows you to view each side of the mailer. Clicking the magnifying glass allows you to view a larger preview.
The name and address shown on the template is for previewing purposes only, when you send a campaign, we will use the information entered in the Return and Contact Info for the actual mailers.

The following templates allow you to upload custom images:

  • Family Streetview

  • Picture Postcard Type

  • Picture Doodle

  • Absentee Doodle Streetview

  • Picture Postcard Streetview

All postcard mailers are 4.25in by 5.5in.

We are working on a feature that will allow you to add custom company urls and customize the wording of the templates. This will be available in a future release.

Return & Contact Info

After selecting your template, enter in the return and contact information for the mailers.

The Return Info is what will appear as the return address on the mailer. If the mailer template you select does not include a name, the name you enter in under the Return Info will not be on the mailer at this time. We are working on a customization feature that will allow you to add this information. Customization will be available in a future release.

The Contact Info is what will appear in the body of the mailer. Similar with the Return info, if the web address is not included on the template you select, it will not be included on your mailer at the this time. We are working on a customization feature that will allow you to add this information. Customization will be available in a future release.

Note: if you set the default return info the Return & Contact Info will be pre-filled in but can be edited when setting up the campaign, if you choose to do so.

Customize Message

If you selected one of the following templates you will be able to add your own custom logos and images.

  • Family Streetview

  • Picture Postcard Type

  • Picture Doodle

  • Absentee Doodle Streetview

  • Picture Postcard Streetview

To add your custom image, click the icon next to the photo. Any photos you added under the Direct Mail Settings will appear for you to select.

Haven't uploaded custom photos in Settings yet? Please see the section Direct Mail Settings

After you have selected a template and entered in all required information, select Save Mailer.

Send Date

Select a send date from the calendar, or toggle to send ASAP. When sending ASAP the earliest date possible for sending will be shown. The send date is the date the mailers will be sent out. We do not have an exact time frame as to when the mailers will be delivered as it can vary between areas based on local carrier delays.

When you finish scheduling your campaign, and select Start Campaign, we will automatically increment the Direct Mail attempts counter within the record.

Our testers asked, and we listened! Some customers are more accustomed to using tags to track marketing attempts. While we are unable to add tags directly in the direct mail campaign setup steps, this may be possible in a future release. Our team is reviewing this request.
In the meantime, you can always filter by the tag you add to the campaign (recommended) and add the direct mail attempt tag.

Direct Mail Postcard Pricing

The price per mailer varies based on your plan and the amount of postcards being sent. You'll receive a discount based on the postcard amount. This amount is deducted from your credits, if you do not have enough credits to send the entire campaign, you'll see a prompt to purchase additional credits. Pricing below includes postage.
