If your property manager shared a promo code with you, here's how to apply it to your application fee.
How to enter your promo code
On the "Enter Promotional Code" screen (it shows up just before the payment step), type your code into the field
Tap Apply Promo
If the code is valid, you'll see a message that you're saving on your app fee, and the discount will appear in the payment summary
If your promo code isn't working
A few things to check:
Make sure you're entering the code exactly as it was shared — promo codes are usually case-sensitive
Check for extra spaces before or after the code
The code may have expired or already been used. If you got it from your property manager, ask them to confirm it's still active.
I don't have a promo code
Promo codes come directly from the property manager — Rent Butter doesn't issue them. If you think you should have one, contact your property manager or leasing agent.
How to remove a promo code
If you applied the wrong code by mistake, tap Remove Promo on the same screen and re-enter the correct one.
