If clicking your invitation link gives you an error or doesn't load, here's what to do.
The link expired
Invitation links can expire after a period of time. If yours has, you'll see the message "This link has expired. Please request a new one."
How to get a new link
You have two options:
Use Resume existing verification β on the Rent Butter start screen, tap Resume existing verification and enter the email you used to apply. We'll email you a fresh link.
Contact your property manager β ask them to resend your invitation. They can do this directly from their dashboard.
The link doesn't load at all
If the link won't load:
Check your internet connection
Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
Open the link in incognito or private mode
Try a different device
If you can't find the link at all
If you can't find the original email or text with your invitation, ask your property manager to resend it.
