Your guarantee runs for a fixed 3 years from the start date on your guarantee certificate.
If you move out before 3 years
Your guarantee simply ends when your tenancy ends and you move out. There's nothing you need to do.
If you're still living there after 3 years
If your tenancy continues beyond the 3 years and your landlord still needs a guarantor, you'll need to make a new application. This involves a new assessment and a new one-off fee.
