Instead of browsing a generic catalog, patients immediately enter a personalized journey that reflects their goals, history, and needs, making the app feel like it was designed just for them.

How the New Onboarding Flow Works
Guided Setup
The onboarding flow is designed to feel engaging and straightforward, not like filling out paperwork. Instead of one long form, patients move through a series of short screens that capture just enough information to personalize their journey:
Core profile details create the foundation for the account. Required information is minimal, with optional fields clearly marked so patients never feel pressured. After creating their account, the client enters the personalization flow.
Goals and concerns help to understand what patients want to achieve, whether it’s clearer skin, anti-aging treatments, or event-based timelines.
Treatment history provides valuable context so recommendations can build on what the patient has already tried, resulting in guidance that feels more relevant and personalized.
Skin type selection ensures recommendations are clinically relevant and tailored from the start.
Flexibility at every step means patients can skip individual questions or even exit the flow entirely. They can return at any time under account settings to finish or update their preferences.
This guided experience keeps things lightweight: fewer questions per screen, autofill support for speed, and fully personalized. Sharing their goals and concerns unlock instant recommendations for the patient.
Questions around treatment history and skin type selection are only shown to patients if your practice offers skin care treatments today.
For Existing Patients
When existing users first log in after the update, they’ll be invited by Adonis and Aria to answer the new personalization questions. If they skip it initially, they can finish their setup later from the home page or in their account settings.
Choosing an Advisor
Patients can personalize their experience by choosing between two AI advisors, Adonis or Aria, selecting the one that best matches their personality and communication style for a more comfortable, engaging experience.
If the user skips this selection, the advisor will assigned based on the user’s gender - Adonis/Male, Aria/Female, Non-Binary, Not Shared.
Personalized Recommendations
From day one, patients get personalized recommendations that drive more conversions. Adonis and Aria tailor suggestions using each patient’s goals and preferences, while staff can view those insights in the admin portal to follow up with precision and close more sales.

Patients only see the personalized onboarding experience if your shop has 10 or more items available. This ensures there are enough treatments or products in the catalog to make meaningful recommendations.
Flexibility for Every Patient
The onboarding flow is built to boost engagement while staying flexible. Patients can skip questions and complete them later through prompts like the recommendation carousel. This keeps personalization opportunities open while giving patients full control of their experience. Preferences can be updated anytime in the app.
