Overview
Generate Rewards is an AI-powered tool that builds a ready-to-review library of rewards for your practice in a single click. It pulls directly from your uploaded services and products and produces one sign-up reward plus 27 visit rewards as drafts, so you can customize and publish what fits your practice without building each reward manually.
This article is for practice owners, managers, and admins setting up Rewards for the first time or refreshing an existing library.
Before You Start
You must have Administrator or Manager access to generate, edit, or publish rewards.
Add all of your Services and Products under the Catalog section before generating. The generator pulls from what's in your catalog, so results are only as good as what you've uploaded.
Generated rewards are created as Drafts. They are not visible to patients until you publish them.
You can re-run Generate Rewards at any time to add more drafts.
Why It Matters
Building a rewards library from scratch is time-consuming, and most practices launch with too few rewards to drive repeat visits. Generate Rewards solves that by:

How It Works
When you click Generate Rewards, RepeatMD uses your uploaded catalog to produce:
(1) Sign-Up Reward that new patients receive when they sign up for your app.
(28) Visit Rewards that unlock at different visit milestones.
Each generated reward is one of three types:
Percentage off a service or product
Dollar amount off a service or product
Free service or product
Generation runs in the background. Once started, you'll see a Generating rewards... banner at the top of the Rewards page letting you know your draft rewards will be ready soon. You can navigate away from the page without interrupting the process and keep working elsewhere in the Admin Panel.
When generation finishes, the new rewards appear in the Drafts tab of both the Sign-Up Rewards and Visit Rewards sections.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Generate your draft rewards
Log in to your Admin Dashboard.
Click Rewards in the MedCommerce Engine section of the left-side navigation.
Confirm your Services and Products are fully added under the Catalog section. (See Before You Start.)
Click Generate Rewards in the top right of the Rewards page.
Wait for the Generating rewards... banner to complete. You can navigate away from the page without interrupting the process.
When generation finishes, your new drafts appear in the Drafts tab of each rewards section.
View your draft rewards
On the Rewards page, locate the Sign-Up Rewards or Visit Rewards section.
In the top right of the section, click the Drafts tab.
Review the list of generated drafts and their unlock milestones, RepeatCash values, and locations.
Edit and publish a draft reward
In the Drafts tab, find the reward you want to publish.
Click the three dots on the right side of the reward.
Make any final changes. You can edit:
Reward Title & Disclaimer
Unlock requirements (visit milestone for Visit Rewards, or sign-up trigger for Sign-Up Rewards)
Discount (percentage off, dollar amount off, or free)
Eligible treatments (services or products)
Click Publish Reward.
The reward moves out of Drafts and into the Available tab, where patients will see it in your app.
Bulk delete draft rewards
If you have drafts you don't plan to publish, you can clear them out at once.
Open the Drafts tab in the Visit Rewards section.
Click Bulk Delete at the top of the drafts list.
In the multi-select flow, choose the drafts you want to remove. Use Select All to select every draft in view. You can delete up to 28 drafts at a time.
Confirm the deletion.
Re-run the generator
To add a fresh set of drafts (for example, after expanding your catalog), click Generate Rewards again. New drafts will be added to the Drafts tab alongside any existing drafts.
Best Practices and Pro Tips
Complete your catalog first. Generated rewards are only as good as the services and products they reference. Upload your full menu before generating.
Review every draft before publishing. The generator gives you a starting point. Adjust titles and discount amounts so each reward fits your brand and margins.
Publish in phases. Start with a focused set of rewards your team can explain confidently at the front desk. You can always publish more drafts later.
Make the sign-up reward compelling. It's the first reward new patients see, so the perceived value needs to be strong enough to drive app sign-ups.
Space visit milestones strategically. Publish rewards across early, mid, and long-term visit counts so patients always have a next reward to work toward.
Re-generate when your catalog grows. Added new services or products? Run Generate Rewards again to pull them into your rewards mix.
Keep the Drafts tab clean. Use Bulk Delete to clear drafts you won't use. A tidy Drafts list makes it easier to review and publish over time.
Common Mistakes and FAQs
Q: How many rewards does the generator create per run?
A: Every run produces 1 Sign-Up Reward and 27 Visit Rewards. All of them land in the Drafts tab until you publish them.
Q: Do generated rewards go live automatically?
A: No. Every generated reward is created as a draft. Patients never see it until you click Publish Reward on that reward.
Q: What's the difference between Sign-Up Rewards and Visit Rewards?
A: Sign-Up Rewards are offered when a patient signs up for your app. Visit Rewards unlock after a patient completes a set number of visits to your practice. Each section has its own Drafts, Available, and Archived tabs.
Q: Why are some of my generated rewards referencing services I don't offer?
A: The generator pulls from whatever services and products are in your catalog. If you see unfamiliar or outdated items, clean up your Catalog first, then re-run Generate Rewards.
Q: Can I generate rewards before uploading my full catalog?
A: You can, but we don't recommend it. The quality of your drafts depends on how complete your catalog is. Finish uploading your services and products first, then generate.
Q: Can I generate more than 27 visit rewards?
A: Yes. Re-run Generate Rewards to add another batch of drafts, or click + Create a new reward at the bottom of the Visit Rewards section to build additional rewards manually.
Q: How do I edit a generated reward before publishing?
A: Click the three dots on the right side of the reward in the Drafts tab, update any field you want (reward title, unlock requirements, discount, or eligible treatments), then click Publish Reward.
Q: Can I navigate away while rewards are generating?
A: Yes. The Generating rewards... banner confirms you can leave the page without interrupting the process. Check back when your drafts are ready.
Q: Can Managers generate rewards, or only Administrators?
A: Both Administrators and Managers can generate, edit, and publish rewards.
Q: What if I want to start over?
A: Use Bulk Delete in the Drafts tab to clear the current drafts, then click Generate Rewards to produce a fresh set.
