Overview
MyProducts Shipping lets patients choose delivery instead of in-clinic pickup for eligible retail products. When shipping is enabled, patients select a fulfillment method at checkout and enter a shipping address for shipped items.
Your practice is responsible for packing, shipping, and patient support for shipped orders. RepeatMD does not ship products, manage carriers, or handle patient questions about shipments.
This article is for practice owners, managers, and admins who fulfill MyProducts orders.
Before You Start
MyProducts must be set up and live. See Set up your MyProducts storefront (Admin Panel).
You need Administrator or Manager access to change Products → Settings.
Decide a flat shipping rate, optional free shipping minimum, and a realistic estimated shipping window.
Configure a support email monitored by whoever handles order fulfillment. Patients tap Need Help? on shipped orders and reach your team, not RepeatMD Support.
MyProducts shipping settings are independent of SkinDrop. See SkinDrop by RepeatMD overview (Admin Panel).
Why It Matters
Pickup-only fulfillment limits patients who cannot visit your office to repurchase. Shipping expands reach for retail products you stock and fulfill yourself.
Clear shipping settings also set patient expectations at checkout and in Wallet, reducing support questions about delivery timing and order status.
How It Works
Practice-owned fulfillment: When a patient chooses shipping, your team receives notifications, packs the order, and ships it. RepeatMD tracks order status you update in the Admin Panel but does not ship on your behalf.
Settings patients see: At checkout, patients see your flat rate, free-shipping threshold (if set), and estimated shipping window. The same window appears in Wallet for shipped items.
Mixed carts: The cart separates items by fulfillment method so patients see what ships versus what is picked up in clinic.
Per-product exclusions: Exclude individual products from shipping by editing fulfillment options on that product in your MyProducts catalog.
Notifications: Staff receive a banner in the Admin Panel when new shipping orders arrive, plus daily reminder emails for orders still requiring shipment.
Tracking: Mark orders as shipped and optionally add a tracking link. RepeatMD does not send shipping confirmation emails or push notifications automatically.
SkinDrop is separate: MyProducts shipping rate, free-shipping minimum, estimated window, and support email have no effect on SkinDrop and vice versa. SkinDrop fulfillment is managed under its own settings.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Enable MyProducts shipping
Log in to your Admin Panel.
Open the Catalog -> Products page.
Go to the Settings tab.
Expand the MyProducts section.
Toggle MyProducts Shipping on.
Set a flat shipping rate for orders.
Optional: set a free shipping minimum cart subtotal.
Set an estimated shipping window shown at checkout and in Wallet.
Set a support email if one is not already configured.
Save your changes.
Exclude a product from shipping
Open Products → MyProducts Catalog.
Click the product to edit.
Update fulfillment options to exclude shipping for that item.
Save the product.
Fulfill and mark orders as shipped
Open Products → Recent Orders (or your order management view).
Locate orders requiring shipment from notifications or the order list.
Pack and ship the order through your chosen carrier.
Mark the order as shipped in the Admin Panel. The system records who marked it and when.
Optional: add a tracking link so the patient can follow the shipment in Wallet.
Update status manually when delivered. RepeatMD does not auto-detect delivery.
Best Practices and Pro Tips
Set a realistic shipping window. Under-promise and over-deliver to protect patient trust.
Monitor the support email. Shipped-order questions go to your practice, not RepeatMD Support.
Use free shipping minimums to encourage larger cart sizes when it fits your margin.
Exclude heavy or fragile items from shipping if you cannot fulfill them reliably.
Check orders daily using Admin Panel banners and reminder emails so nothing sits unfulfilled.
Common Mistakes and FAQs
Q: Does RepeatMD notify patients when their order ships?
A: Not automatically. When you mark an order as shipped and add a tracking link, patients can use that link to track delivery. RepeatMD does not send shipping confirmation emails or push notifications on your behalf.
Q: Can I offer free shipping?
A: Yes. Set a free shipping minimum in MyProducts settings. Orders above that subtotal qualify for free shipping at checkout.
Q: A patient has a question about their shipment. What do they do?
A: They contact the support email configured in MyProducts settings. Make sure that inbox is monitored by your fulfillment team.
Q: Does changing MyProducts shipping settings affect SkinDrop?
A: No. MyProducts and SkinDrop have completely separate shipping settings.
Q: Can patients mix pickup and shipping in one order?
A: Yes. The cart separates items by fulfillment method when both options apply.
Q: Who ships MyProducts orders?
A: Your practice. RepeatMD provides order tracking in the Admin Panel but does not ship products or manage carriers.
