Understand MyProducts and SkinDrop benefits (Admin Panel)

Learn how MyProducts and SkinDrop work together to expand retail revenue, give patients more fulfillment options, and keep purchases inside your app.

Overview

Retail is a major growth lever for many practices, but limited shelf space, inventory cost, and patients buying from large online retailers often cap results.

MyProducts and SkinDrop by RepeatMD address different gaps:

  • MyProducts sells products already on your shelves through your in-app shop with pickup or practice-managed shipping.

  • SkinDrop adds a dermatologist-curated drop-ship catalog of 1,000+ SKUs with no inventory required.

Together they form a full retail strategy inside one patient app.

This article is for practice owners and managers evaluating or optimizing both retail channels.

Before You Start

Why It Matters

Practices lose retail revenue in two common ways:

  1. Limited reach of in-clinic shelves. Patients cannot repurchase trusted products online, leaving slow-moving or expired stock on shelves.

  2. Limited retail supply. Inventory cost or lack of shipping options caps skincare sales.

MyProducts solves the first. SkinDrop solves the second. Used together, patients shop your recommendations, trust your guidance, and stay in your app for every purchase.

How It Works

MyProducts (your inventory): You list products you stock. Patients buy in the app. You fulfill via in-clinic pickup or shipping you manage. You keep the full product margin minus processing fees. You manage stock levels and returns per your in-office policy.

SkinDrop (drop-ship catalog): RepeatMD fulfills SkinDrop orders. Patients receive delivery without you holding inventory. You earn profit per order paid through regular RepeatMD payouts. Returns for SkinDrop go through RepeatMD in-app support. See Ship a SkinDrop product for return (Patient App).

Combined checkout: Patients can add MyProducts and SkinDrop items to the same cart. Labels show which items ship versus pickup in clinic.

Payouts: Revenue from both channels flows into your regular RepeatMD payouts. SkinDrop profit rates vary by product; confirm current terms with your Customer Success Manager.

Example: After a HydraFacial, a patient repurchases post-treatment serum via MyProducts for in-clinic pickup and adds a dermatologist-curated sunscreen from SkinDrop for home delivery. Both purchases happen in one app session.
