Why Do the Lessons in the re:sleep Program Switch from Daily to Weekly?

If you're in the middle of the re:sleep journey and suddenly notice that your lessons aren't releasing each day like clockwork - you’re not alone in wondering, “Wait, where did they go?”

This change often catches people off guard, especially after those first few weeks where daily lessons become a familiar part of your routine. So if you’ve felt surprised (or even a bit lost) when the daily content shifts to weekly, please know that this is completely normal - and actually a really important part of your sleep retraining journey.

Let’s walk through why this happens, and how it’s designed to support you, not leave you hanging.

The First Few Weeks: Building Your Foundation

In the reprogramming stage of the program - typically the first 3 weeks - you’ll receive daily lessons. This is when we’re laying the groundwork. You’re learning key concepts, starting to understand your sleep drive, identifying unhelpful behaviours, and building awareness of the dysfunctional sleep program your body has been running on.

It’s an intensive period of learning, support, and change - because, let’s be honest, breaking long-standing sleep habits and unpicking the anxiety and frustration around not sleeping doesn’t happen with a few quick tips or a checklist of “sleep hygiene” rules. That's why the daily lessons are intentional at this point to help build momentum and provide clear, structured support as you begin shifting your sleep pattern.

The Shift to Weekly: Moving from Learning to Implementation

But then, things change as we move into the next restrengthening stage of your program. Instead of daily lessons, you’ll begin receiving a weekly batch of lessons at the start of each new week, giving you the flexibility to watch them in your own time. This isn’t because we’ve pulled back our support but it’s because at this stage, the work becomes less about learning and more about doing.

By now, you’ve met your boosters and “golden rules,” you’ve set your personalised sleep schedule, and you’re continuing to implement core principles you learnt in the first stage. This next phase is all about putting these principles into practice, consistently and calmly. And that takes focus!

Too much new information during this stage can start to feel overwhelming or even distracting. You’ve got the toolkit now and we’re helping you use it, refine it, and stay supported as you navigate the ups and downs that are totally normal during sleep retraining.

You’re Not Alone - We’re Still Here

Even though the lesson frequency changes, your support doesn’t. You still have:

  • Weekly video clinics where you can ask your questions and hear from our sleep experts

  • Access to our community group, where others are on the exact same journey

  • Supplementary lessons each week to help troubleshoot and deepen your understanding

We’re still right here, cheering you on and helping you through the tougher days and celebrating the wins, no matter how small.

It’s a Sign of Progress

If you’re seeing your lessons shift to weekly, it means you’ve reached a turning point. You’ve moved out of the reprogramming stage and into restrengthening phase - and that’s a huge milestone!

We know how easy it is to feel like you need to “do more” or “learn more” to fix your sleep - but often, what’s really needed is doing less, more consistently. That’s the real magic of this stage.

So take a breath, trust the process, and know this: we haven’t gone anywhere. You’re doing the work and we’re still walking alongside you!
