Physician Dashboard

This article explains how physicians, review and sign clinical documents. The Physician Dashboard gives signers one place to complete all pending signatures without relying on email notifications.

When You’ll Use This Article

Use this guide when a physician or e-signer needs to:

  • Log in to the Physicians Portal

  • Review documents awaiting approval

  • Bulk-sign evaluation and recertification documents

  • Understand how documents are sent for physician review


Role Applicability

  • Physicians / E-Signers: Full access to the Physician Dashboard

  • Therapists: Send documents for physician signature

  • DORs / Admin: View signature status but cannot send documents


Overview

The Physician Dashboard in RESTORE-Insights provides an easy, centralized workflow for reviewing and signing clinical documents. Physicians use their unique Provider Portal URL and login credentials to access documents that require their signature.

Physicians will not receive reminders to log-in, so we recommend bookmarking the login page and checking it regularly.


Logging In

Each physician logs in through the RI Provider Portal, using a facility-specific URL provided by the therapy team.

Portal URL Format:
[groupname]-provider.production-insights.restoreskills.com

Example:
If your group name is Peace Care:
peacecare-provider.production-insights.restoreskills.com

If you do not know your URL, contact your therapy organization or facility leadership.

After entering your username and password, you will be taken directly to the Physician Dashboard.


Dashboard Layout

The dashboard contains two main sections:

1. Signature Pending

These are documents awaiting your review and signature.
You can filter by:

  • Patient

  • Facility

  • Document Type

  • Date of Service

  • Status

Use the funnel icon in the header row to filter.

2. Completed Docs

Once signed, documents move to this section for record keeping.


Bulk Signing Workflow- Physicians

Step 1 — Review Pending Documents

  • Open the Pending Docs section.

  • Click any document to open the PDF Viewer for review.

Step 2 — Select Multiple Documents

  • Check the box next to each document you want to approve.

  • Use filtering options to locate specific records as needed.

Step 3 — Approve Selected Documents

  • Click Approve Selected Documents to confirm that these items are ready to be signed.

  • You may also open documents one-by-one in the PDF Viewer and click Approve within the PDF Viewer.

Step 4 — Final Review in PDF Viewer

Within the viewer, you can:

  • Read the full document

  • Approve it for signing

  • Navigate using arrow buttons to move through pending items

Step 5 — Sign Approved Docs

Once your set is ready:

  1. Click Sign Approved Docs

  2. The system will apply your signature and timestamp

  3. Signed items automatically move to the Completed Docs tab


How Documents Are Sent to Physicians

Therapists follow a standard workflow to send documents for physician signature:

  1. Therapist completes and submits an evaluation or recertification.

  2. In the patient’s Episode of Care (EOC), the therapist:

    • Selects the physician from the Signatures dropdown

    • Signs their portion of the document

    • Clicks Send to route the document for physician review

  3. The document appears as Pending on the Physician Dashboard.

  4. Once signed, the document’s status updates to Signed, and it becomes visible in the Completed Docs section.

Important:

  • Only the therapist can send documents for physician signature.

  • DORs and Admin users cannot send documents on behalf of therapists.


Updating Username or Password

If a physician needs to update login credentials, this can be done by:

  • Regional Directors

  • Other Enterprise-level leadership with Provider Management permissions

Physicians should contact their facility or therapy leadership to request updates.


Troubleshooting

If a document is missing:
Confirm that the therapist submitted the document and sent it for signature.

If you cannot log in:
Verify that you are using the correct Provider Portal URL for your group.

If filters show no results:
Clear all filters using the funnel icon and retry.
