How to change your return and restock address

A guide on how to change your return and restock locations in the Returbo app.

Accessing Location Settings

  1. Go to the Returbo app.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Request Settings → General.

  3. The first section you will see is Return & Restock Locations.

Here you can view and manage all your addresses.

Understanding Address Types

There are two types of addresses in Returbo:

Shopify Locations

  • Marked with a Shopify logo on the right side.

  • Managed directly in Shopify under:
    Shopify Admin → Settings → Locations

  • Can be used as:

    • Return addresses

    • Restock locations

    • Default shipping/fulfillment locations

  • These represent physical warehouse locations where stock is stored.

To edit or remove a Shopify location, you must do this in Shopify, not in Returbo. Here is a guide on how to do this in Shopify.

Returbo Return Addresses

  • Added manually in Returbo.

  • Can only be used as return addresses.

  • Cannot be used as restock or fulfillment locations.

How to Edit an Existing Address

Editing a Returbo Address

  1. Go to Settings → Request Settings → General.

  2. Under Return & Restock Locations, click the three dots next to the address.

  3. Select Edit address.

  4. Update the address details as needed.

  5. (Optional) Select:
    "Set as default return location, where all returns will be sent to" if this should be your new default return address.

  6. Click Update location.

Editing a Shopify Address

If the address has a Shopify logo, you must edit it in Shopify:

  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Locations.

  2. Click the location you want to edit.

  3. Update the address details there. Within a few minutes the address will be updated in Returbo.

  4. (Optional) If you want another name or person as the receiver such as your warehouse, you can add this in Returbo, following the same steps as Editing a Returbo Address

Carrier Address Updates (Plus, Premium & Enterprise Plans)

If you are on the Plus, Premium, or Enterprise plan, you may have different return addresses set for different carriers.

When changing your default return address, you will be prompted to update the carrier default address.

  • Select Yes to update the return address for all carriers.

  • Select No if you want to update carriers individually.

To update individual carriers manually:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Shipping.

  2. Select the carrier you want to update.

  3. Change the address there.

How to Add a New Location

  1. Go to the Returbo app.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Request Settings → General.

  3. Under Return & Restock Locations, click the pink Add location button.

  4. Enter the new address details.

  5. Click Update location.

Carrier Address Update (Plus, Premium & Enterprise)

If applicable, you will be prompted to update the default return address for all carriers.

  • Select Yes to update all carriers.

  • Select No to manage them individually via:
    Settings → Integrations → Shipping.

How to Update the Default Restock Location

Note: Only Shopify locations can be set as restock locations.

  1. Go to the Returbo app.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Request Settings → General.

  3. Under Return & Restock Locations, select a location with the Shopify logo.

  4. Click the three dots next to the address.

  5. Select Edit address.

  6. Choose "Set as default restock location".

  7. Click Update location.
