What is Nudge Exchanges?
Nudge Exchanges is a setting that encourages customers to pick an exchange over a return in the Digital Return Form.
When it's turned on, the exchange option shows a Free badge. The return option shows its associated return shipping cost instead. This makes the exchange feel like the obvious, no-cost choice, while the return option makes the cost of returning visible.
Based on data from merchants using this feature, turning on Nudge Exchanges has increased exchange rates by up to 42%.
Who can use it
Nudge Exchanges is available on the Premium and Enterprise plans.
How to turn on Nudge Exchanges
Go to Settings.
Navigate to Request Settings > Exchanges.
Toggle Nudge Exchanges to ON.
That's it. Once it's on, customers will see the updated Digital Return Form the next time they start a return or exchange request.
What customers see
When a customer opens the Digital Return Form to decide between a return and an exchange:
The Exchange option is highlighted with a Free badge.
The Return option shows its return shipping cost.
