How to Limit Patient Rescheduling to the Same Provider and Appointment Type

Only allow patients to reschedule the SAME appointment type with the same provider.

When a patient RE-SCHEDULES an appointment would you only like them to choose the same appointment type with the same provider? We got you covered!

How to Limit Rescheduling


1. Go to SCHEDULING>SETTINGS.
โ€‹
2. You will first need to make sure that the switch next to "Reschedule Appointments" is selected.


3. Underneath, you will see an option for "Modify Appointments?", disable this switch if you would like patients to only be able to reschedule with the same provider and appointment type.

4. Scroll down and click SAVE DEFAULTS!

Moving forward, when a patient tries to reschedule it will AUTOMATICALLY preselect the same appointment type and same provider!
