Use this guide if you want to:

  • Prevent patients from switching providers or appointment types when rescheduling

  • Ensure patients keep consistency in their care

  • Maintain schedule control while still allowing reschedules

✅ Set Rescheduling Rules for Patients 🎯

  1. Go to Scheduling > Settings
    This is where you manage your scheduling preferences.

  2. Enable the "Reschedule Appointments" switch

    • This allows patients to reschedule online.

    • The toggle must be ON to proceed.

  3. Turn OFF the "Modify Appointments?" switch

    • This prevents patients from changing the provider or appointment type

    • Patients will only be able to rebook the same visit with the same doctor

  4. Scroll to the bottom and click “Save Defaults”

    • Your changes will apply to all future reschedules!

  • Patients rescheduling online see only one option: the original provider and appointment type
