Do you want to be alerted through your web browser when a patient sends in a new text? You can turn on notifications for Aloha, within your browser settings, to notify you when a new text populates!

This will trigger a banner, badge, or alert to show even if you are not currently looking at the open website tab! The browser will prompt you on your initial visit to the site to enable these notifications however, if you blocked or ignored the pop-up, below are step-by-step instructions on how to get this set up. Depending on the browser in use, the configuration process may be different for each. Below are a few browser examples that currently support notifications.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to: chrome://settings/content

  2. Scroll down and click on the Notifications bar

  3. Find the URL: app.reviewwave.com and select the option. You can also change your global notification settings here by clicking on the toggle at the top of the page (default is “Ask before sending”)

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and navigate to: about:preferences

    1. Depending on your version of Firefox, you may need to select the “Content” tab choice. In the latest Firefox, click on the “Privacy and Security” tab instead

  2. Scroll to where it says “Notifications” and click the “Settings” button

  3. A menu will pop up where you can change the settings for Aloha

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge and select the “...” button in the top-right corner of the browser window

  2. Scroll down and select the “Settings” option from the dropdown menu

  3. Scroll down and select the “Advanced Settings” option from the dropdown menu

  4. Scroll down and select the “Manage” button under the “Website Permissions” heading

  5. Here you can select Aloha and either enable or disable notifications from that domain

Safari

  1. Select “Safari” in the action bar at the top of the screen and select “Preferences”

  2. Click on the “Websites” tab and then select “Notifications” in the menu on the left-side of the preferences window

  3. Here you can select Aloha and either enable or disable notifications from the site

Enabling Desktop Notifications

Now that you have the browser notifications enabled you may want to enable the notifications to appear on your desktop if not set already. Depending on the system in use (PC or Mac), the steps may differ.

PC (Windows)

  1. Click the START button and select Settings

  2. Select SYSTEM and go to NOTIFICATIONS

  3. Once here, you can enable notifications for specific applications to appear as a banner, sound, ect

Mac (OS)
