Learn how to connect your CLA (Insight/Synapse) account to Aloha, allowing patients to view their computerized nervous system scan results directly in their Patient Portal.

✨ When You Need This Guide

This guide is for you if you use CLA technology in your practice and want to:

  • Connect your CLA Insight account to Aloha.

  • Allow patients to see their CLA scan results in the Patient Portal or Scheduling App.

  • Find where to enter your CLA-Synapse login credentials.

  • Understand what the CLA integration does and how it benefits your patients.

What is a CLA Scan?

A CLA Scan provides computerized results that show patients if there is stress on their nervous system and how it may be affecting their organs, glands, muscles, and energy levels. This integration makes it easy for you to share these insightful results directly with them.

You'll Need:

  • An active administrator account with CLA Insight.

  • Your CLA username and password.

βœ… Connecting Your CLA Account

Follow these quick steps to get your accounts connected.

  1. Navigate to Settings. Click the Gear Icon (βš™οΈ) in the top menu of your Aloha account.

  2. Click on Integration from the settings dropdown menu.

  3. Find the "Other Integrations" section. From the dropdown menu, select the option labeled CLA- Synapse.

  4. Enter your CLA login information. Carefully type your CLA username and password into the fields provided.

  5. Click Save. The connection is now active!

πŸ’‘ If Scans Aren't Appearing

If you've completed the steps but patients can't see their scans, check these common solutions.

What You Might Notice

Why It's Happening

How to Fix It

After saving, patients still can't see their scans in the portal.

The login credentials entered might be incorrect, or there could be a slight delay during the first sync.

Double-check your credentials. Go back to the Integration page and carefully re-enter your CLA username and password. If you are sure they are correct, please allow 24 hours for the initial sync to complete.

I get an "Invalid Login" or "Authentication Failed" error.

The username or password you entered does not match what CLA has on file.

First, try to log in directly to your CLA Insight website to verify your credentials are correct. If you can't log in there, you may need to reset your password through CLA's system.

I connected the integration, but I can't find where to view the scans.

This is by design. The CLA integration is a patient-facing feature, meaning scans do not appear on the admin side of Aloha for staff to view.

To see the scans, a patient must log in to their own account using The Scheduling App or Patient Portal. The scans will be visible to them under the scan icon ().

πŸŽ‰ You'll Know It's Working When:

  • The system saves your CLA credentials without showing an error message.

  • Your patients can log in to their Patient Portal or Scheduling App and see a section displaying their latest CLA scan results.
