Add-ons are optional benefits you can include with your Nomad Insurance Essential plan.
Important:
This section applies only to add-ons that are already offered: US add-on, Electronic theft add-on and Adventure Sports add-on.
Can I change my add-ons after purchase?
❌ No. Once your plan is purchased, it’s not possible to add or remove add-ons.
If you want to change your add-ons, you’ll need to:
Request a cancellation of your current plan (cancellation takes 24 hours).
Purchase a new plan with your preferred add-ons.
⚠️ Important: Any illness or injury you experienced under your first plan will be considered pre-existing under your new plan, and will be excluded from coverage. Claims for accidents, illnesses, or incidents that took place/developed/were diagnosed within the first 72 hours from the purchase date and time require additional documentation confirming that the time of the incident or onset of symptoms was after the purchase time and date.
Types of Add-Ons
Adventure Sports add-on → Available only on subscription plans.
Electronics Theft add-on → Available only on subscription plans.
U.S. Coverage add-on → Available on both subscription and fixed plans.
