When Does Delay Coverage Apply?
You may qualify for reimbursement if:
Your scheduled flight, train, bus, or boat (with a valid ticket) was delayed or cancelled, and no suitable replacement was provided within the time limits, or
You were involved in a traffic accident on the way to your departure point, causing you to miss your original departure and be rebooked beyond the time limits.
Your transportation must be arranged with a licensed carrier operating scheduled routes.

Ride-shares
Privately rented vehicles

Up to USD 60
8+ hour delay
USD 150 for the initial delay

If the delay starts in your country of residence, coverage is limited to:

What Do I Need to Submit a Claim?
Please include:
A copy of your original travel itinerary
The updated (delayed) itinerary
Receipts for meals and accommodation
Proof of the transportation delay
A police report (if the delay was caused by a traffic accident)
Additional documentation may be requested depending on the circumstances of your claim.
