Yes — stolen wallets may be covered
Having your wallet stolen can be stressful, especially when you're far from home.
If your wallet is stolen, Nomad Insurance Complete may reimburse certain costs related to replacing the items inside, as long as the incident meets the policy conditions.
Important conditions
This benefit applies when:
The theft is reported and documented properly
The required documentation is submitted with your claim
What you’ll need to submit a claim
To help us review your claim, please include:
A police report filed within 24 hours of the incident
Receipts for the costs of replacing items from your wallet
A copy of a government-issued ID, if requested
In some cases, we may ask for additional information or documentation to complete the review.
Reimbursement limits
USD 150 per incident
Up to USD 450 lifetime maximum under the plan
