Payroll permissions need to be granted to the staff who are authorised to access employee pay details, timesheets and related financial records. This ensures only the appropriate employees can manage payroll functions, protecting sensitive information while keeping wage processing accurate. Assigning Payroll Permissions
From the Dashboard, click on the cog in the top right.
Click on Account Settings.
Scroll to Permissions.
To the right, select Access.
To assign payroll permissions, the employee must already have Admin or Manager permissions.
To check, look for their name in the Admins or Managers columns.
If they do not appear, follow the separate instructions to Set Employee Permissions.
Choose Add Payroll Permissions.
Choose the correct employee from the drop-down menu.
Choose the locations the employee can manage for rostering and payroll.
Tick the checkboxes to choose permissions.
Click Save and Sync Permissions.
