Managing and Inviting Users in Scrunch

How to add users to individual brands in Scrunch, invite collaborators, and request org-level admin access for agencies.

Overview

Scrunch gives agencies flexibility in how they grant access to clients and team members. Right now, you can add users at the brand level, meaning each invite is tied to a specific brand. Organization-wide user permissions are in development, and org-level access can be requested through support.


Adding Users to a Brand

If you want to give someone access to a single brand:

  1. Navigate to that brand’s Settings Tab.

  2. Go to the Users section and select + Invite User.

  3. Enter the person’s email address.

  4. Scrunch will automatically send them an email invitation.

Once accepted, the user will be able to log in and view that brand’s data.

Note: This invitation only applies to the brand you added them to.


Organization-Level Access

Current Options

At the moment, organization-wide user management is not yet built into the Scrunch app. If you’d like to add someone as an org-level admin with access to all brands under your account, please contact support@scrunchai.com and our team can enable this for you.

Coming Soon

We are developing a new User Management system that will allow:

  • Inviting users to the entire organization

  • Assigning permissions by role:

    • Admin – full organization access and settings

    • Editor – can add prompts, manage brand settings

    • Viewer – read-only access to dashboards and reports


Best Practices for Agencies

  • Clients vs. team members: Scrunch agency accounts are intended to be internal-only. If you'd like to share Scrunch access with a client, please let us know! We can talk about reporting options either in Scrunch or more custom options like Looker Studio.

  • Keep invites clean: Remove inactive users to avoid clutter and ensure security.

  • Limit admin rights: Reserve admin permissions for a small number of trusted team members.

Q: Can I restrict a user to just viewing data (no editing)?
Not yet — role-based permissions are coming soon.

Q: Can I add a single user to multiple brands?
Yes, but you’ll need to invite them to each brand separately until org-wide invites are available.

Q: How does a user accept an invite?
They’ll receive an automated email with a link to log in. They'll just need to complete a quick email verification before accessing Scrunch.
